Apple held a special media event this morning in their headquarters at Cupertino at which they unvieiled  the iPad Air 2, iPad Mini 3 and a 5K Retnina iMac

Citing "Sources" Re/code reports that Apple will be holding a special event on October 16 where they will introduce their new iPads as well as Yosemite. Re/code has a pretty good reputation so my money says that this is the date! The rumours are that Apple will hold the event at their own in campus in the "Town Hall".

The only real solid goss we have on the new iPads is that they'll feature Touch ID.

Three years ago today the world lost a true visionary. Steve Jobs impacted millions of lives and is still sorely missed. His successor Tim Cook has reflected this in an email to the staff of Apple this weekend:

Wow - this might go down as the best Apple Event since Steve Jobs

In light of the recent breach of over 100 celebrities iCloud accounts (and the publishing of some photos I"m sure they wish were still private). We thought it might be a good idea to take you through just how easy it is to enable 2 step verification for your Apple iCloud  account.

So in case you haven't heard, Jennifer Lawrence and a heap of other female celebrities have had their iCloud accounts hacked and in Jennifer's case had some revealing "Selfies" posted on the internet.

There's a lot of new trailers up on iTunes Trailers and The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies is sure to be another hit!

Microsoft just can't help itself. Not happy with their the last lot of ads for the Surface Pro 3 attacking Apple's iPad they now have the MacBook Air in their sights.
