While many thought this might be yet another April Fool's Day joke, it now seems real.
Both Variety and The Hollywood reporter are insisting that Ashton Kutcher will be cast in the title role of Jobs directed by Joshua Michael Stern.
The SMH reports:
"While Sony is planning a separate biopic about the Apple founder, based on Walter Isaacson's authorized biography, Jobs is an independent biopic which is looking to steal the thunder by hitting screens first.
Written by Matt Whiteley, Jobs will tell the tale of Steve Jobs' journey from Northern California hippie to become the co-founder of Apple."
I think he'd be a great fit and can't wait to see the movie.
