Apple hosted it’s March Special Event this morning. The event saw them launch a heap of new services culminating with Apple TV+ which saw Steven Spielberg, J.J. Abrams and Oprah taking the stage amongst many others!

The Commonwealth Bank has finally switched on Apple Pay for it’s customers - it is the second of the big four to do so and almost 2 years after ANZ broke ranks.

ANZ is the first of the four major banks to welcome Apple Pay to Australia and luckily for me - they are also my bank!

Apple Pay has finally launched in Australia today....kind of. 

It only has one partner as of today in Australia and that is American Express. It's believed the major banks are holding out over the cut Apple wants to take from each transaction.

The big four Australian banks are pushing back against introducing Apple Pay over the fees Apple wants to charge them.
