Google has released it's own YouTube App for the iPhone which is available now on the App Store.

As we've reported before, Apple has pulled it's own YouTube App from the up coming release of iOS 6 and it now looks like Google as responded.

The App is great and actually far more functional than Apple's current default version although it is currently only formatted for the iPhone and not the iPad. Google describes it below:

"Watch the world’s videos and keep up with your favorite YouTube channels with the official YouTube app for iOS. Sign in to access your subscriptions, playlists, uploads and more.

Features:βœ“ Enjoy YouTube’s vast video catalog, including official music videosβœ“ Find videos and channels more easily with voice search and query autocompleteβœ“ Subscribe to channels and instantly access your subscriptions with the channel guide UIβœ“ Read comments, browse related videos, enable subtitles and more – all while watchingβœ“ Easy video sharing to Google+, E-mail, Facebook and Twitter"

You can grab the YouTube App here.
